For the past few years, my employer has celebrated Earth Day. We have a stretch of road that people volunteer to help clean up, weve gotten seeds to plant…and this year all the crafty people at work are invited to share & sell their wares that are handmade out of recycled goods. What better way to show off my talents than to sew a bunch of awesome recycled items. I sent out an email today to all my friends inviting them to donate to the cause by going through their closets & drawers to find any kind of clothing or household items they were not using or were slightly damaged to be refurbished into something awesome. I’m going to list out my wish list of items here in case anyone out there reading my blog wants the list and I will be adding to it too. I’m also going to post the types of items I’m thinking of making. Anything that doesn’t sell will be added to my Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/janetsjunk.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove sides of pan and serve warm.

Hi and thanks for checking out my blog. I’ve always wanted to share my crafts with my friends, which I do, but now I’m sharing them with all my friends/family that live afar or online acquaintances as well. Be sure to come back often as I’ll be posting when I can.
