Here’s another CD case that’s a bit different in functionality and holds a whopping 8 CD’s. I used an old pair of jeans (actually same pair that I used on the last one), some extra fabric from a purse I made, a couple red buttons & some elastic to hold it closed. I also added my JJ Janet’s Junk tag to the back. I reinforced the whole thing to make it stiff using a couple cardboard cut outs from our soda 12 packs boxes. It was the coolest thing to use and I just cut it to size and sewed it in. I’m lovin’ this one and am hoping to make a few more the next few days.

I started off making a hobo bag but then I missed a few steps at the start and decided to wing it and call it my own. The outer fabric is a denim weight with black/white stripes. I handmade the cherries applique on front, magnetic closure, 2 pockets inside with matching outer fabric, lining is pink with little bubbles. Handle matches both fabrics. This is a gift for a friend…she saw one her friend bought and wanted one like it. Although it’s not as big as her friends, I think this one is better.

Okay, maybe not Hawaiian style per say, but the print of florals reminds me of Hawaiian prints. I made my own pattern for this one, used some denim type fabric with a floral print, edged it with lace and added a magnetic closure. Inside is a blue fabric with white print and yellow pockets. What you can’t see is there is 2 large pockets on the outer edges and then on the inner part of the pocket, I made 2 pencil/pen spaces. The handles are connected using wood napkin rings that I got at a consignment store I think. This one’s for sale guys so if anyone is interested, let me know. Otherwise it will eventually end up on my Etsy site.
